Well, this is the part of the website where I tell you how many years I’ve been in the business, how many weddings I’ve photographed, how I can make your day and your photographs special. And I’ll get to that, but first I’ll tell you about the real me.  I spend too much time on the computer, obsessively check my email, and I’m too much of a perfectionist about everything. My guilty pleasures are expensive coffees, a new project, and an evening out with the hubby – without the kids. I regularly run in competitions, though I never place, I enjoy the exercise and its my stress relief.  I love photographing a new location – there’s a challenge there to find new lighting, new ideas, and new perspectives. I’m a beach bum at heart. I could spend every day of my life on the beach and never get tired of the sound of the waves. But ultimately, my favorite place to be is with my husband and my two little girls.

So what does this have to do with photography? Just about everything. I’m an easy going person, but can be forceful when I need to (like with unruly guests!). I love a challenge, so bring me your craziest ideas and I’ll be thrilled. And I’m a perfectionist at heart, which means I won’t quit until your pictures are perfect. I’ve done professional photography for years, and though I have been involved in everything from traditional portraiture, sporting events, animals, landscapes, and cityscapes, my favorite thing to photograph is weddings. Why is that? Because of the joy, the love, and the stress that comes with them. The happiest days of my clients lives, what other day can compare?

I love to help you through your big day. My approach is relaxed – most important to me, I want you to ENJOY your day! Not to be posed constantly, and told where to stand. I’ll let you be yourself on your day, and simply capture you and your family in your true personalities. I’m not your traditional wedding photographer. I’m determined to get more than just that traditional shots. I want to capture your personality, your love, and in the process present you with true art for your home and for your loved ones.
